electrolytic aluminium production 21.07 million tons during Jannary and Auguest

In August, the national ten kinds of non-ferrous metal production grew by 9.4% year on year, growth fell 0.1% year-on-year. Among them, electrolytic aluminum, zinc production increased by 13.7% and 8.6% respectively, 5 and 1.3%; Copper production rose 2.2%, down 18.8%; Lead production fell by 3.4%, decline narrowed 3.3% year-on-year.

1 – August, the national ten kinds of non-ferrous metal production 33.87 million tons, up 9.4% from a year earlier, the growth of 3% year-on-year increase. 21.07 million tons of electrolytic aluminium production, growth of 12.2%, increased by 4.5%; 5.07 million tons of copper production, growth of 8.2%, down 3%; Lead production 2.58 million tons, down 4.1%, decline narrowed 1% year-on-year; Zinc output of 4.11 million tons, 10.1% growth, increased by 6.3%. Alumina production 37.87 million tons, the growth of 11.5%, increased by 6.2%.

Copper, aluminium, zinc prices have been falling, lead prices recovered slightly last month. In August, the Shanghai futures exchange copper, aluminium, zinc futures that month average price respectively is 39422 yuan/ton, 12180 yuan/ton and 15198 yuan/ton, than the last month fell 6%, 2.5% and 2.3%, fell by 21.8%, 12.8% and 9.4%; Lead futures that month average price is 13197 yuan/ton, rose 0.4% than last month, down 9.9% year-on-year.
